16th Annual Ketchum Arts Festival Promises Enchantment
It’s time for artists and participants alike to save the date for the popular Ketchum Arts Festival July 10-12, 2015. Celebrating over 100 visually enchanting art-filled booths dispersed over Festival Meadows in Sun Valley Resort, world famous Mt. Baldy flanks the festivities with nature’s artistry. Sun Valley offers a great family get-away with something for everyone topped off by the Ketchum Art Festival.
The Ketchum Art Festival is a convenient place for family and friends to converge and savor free live music, delicious food, and children stringing bracelets or painting faces in the free activity tent. Note the pride from local Blaine County artists who prepare distinctive art at a volume to meet the hungry demand of festival-goers at this prominent event. The collection of unique artist’s wares will amaze, from ceramics, hand crafted windsocks, jewelry, glass blown delights, handmade wardrobe accessories (hats, scarves, aprons, and tutus), wind chimes, furniture, edible treasures, and locally made skin-care. There is an interesting variety of high-end sophisticated art created by professional artists and enticing affordable arts and crafts by emerging artists. Everyone grins; everyone wins.
The KAF is easily accessed by the bike trail, hiking trails, and grants ample parking on Sun Valley Road for those who drive. This festival guarantees to be a summer highlight running Friday and Saturday 10-6 and Sunday 10-4. Local artists who regularly participate are applauded and KAF eagerly awaits art from fresh faces who join the robust turn-out each year. Mark your calendar.
