“Weed or Wildflower?” led by Forest Service Range Managers Robert Garcia and Bill Whitaker and Blaine County weed manager Bronwyn Nickel. Learn how noxious weed sites are managed, inventoried, controlled and prevented.

Destination:  Insectary at Sawtooth National Recreation Area, Cove Creek and the Boulder Front

Difficulty: Easy

Meeting Time & Location: Meet at 9:00 AM sharp at Sawtooth Botanical Garden (Highway 75 and Gimlet Rd., 3 miles south of Ketchum) or 10:15 AM at the Sawtooth National Recreation Area Headquarters, 7 miles north of Ketchum, to carpool.

Return Time: by 2:00 PM

Please note, walks will happen rain or shine. Bring appropriate outerware, sturdy walking shoes, water, sunscreen, hat and lunch.   This walk is family friendly for children age 7 years and older accompanied by an adult. Call if you have questions.  But please leave Fido at home.
